The Outdoor Dining grant is the first part of a multiphase effort to expand dining options in public rights-of-way. The first phase of the Outdoor Dining Grant Program supported Sidewalk Café, courtyard, and off-street parking outdoor dining spaces. This second round of the Outdoor Dining Grant program will support the creation of Curbside Dining and Parklet areas.  The program will start with a pilot that will run through at least October 19th in the Downtown Development District area (bounded by Iberville Street, the Pontchartrain Expressway, the Mississippi River, and Claiborne Avenue).  If you are a restaurant or bar owner interested in future phases of the program, please fill out the webform below to be contacted once applications are open.
